OMNE was created with a clear mission: to elevate the daily lives of modern professionals. The work bag is our true everyday companion, we believe it deserves beauty, function and intention. OMNE bags are designed to follow you through the day, supporting you from office to after work, moving with your rhythm, your work, and your journey.

Behind OMNE is a team shaped by decades of collective experience. Rita Dong brings over 25 years in high end bag production, having run her factory since 1999 and crafted for internationally recognised brands. Christer Axelsson adds more than forty years in luxury fashion and couture, trained in Paris and shaped by collaborations with Dior, Anne Valérie Hash and leading Scandinavian houses. Together, they rooted in craftsmanship, intention, and a deep respect for quality.

And we haven’t built OMNE alone. We are supported by many talented colleagues and friends: skilled artisans, corporate leaders, young artists, creators, IT specialists, and visionary entrepreneurs. Together, we share one goal: to redefine professional accessories by uniting quality design with functional elegance.

At OMNE, everything is born from experience and we maintain elevated standards with sustainability at our core. We use premium, long-lasting leather and have developed our own recycled leather, continually working toward a more responsible fashion future.

Our Craftsmanship

 

Rita Dong is the founder of OMNE and has been running her factory since 1999. Over the years, she has produced bags for internationally well known  brands such as Armani, Kate Spade, Coach, and Juicy Couture. This long experience has given her a clear understanding of what true quality requires – not only beautiful design, but balance, functionality, and integrity in every stitch.

After moving to Stockholm, Rita fell in love with Scandinavian simplicity and modern minimalism. With decades of creating for others, a long held dream resurfaced and slowly grew into a new vision: to build a brand that honours craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and the real needs of modern professionals.

From this vision, OMNE was born – a collection of elevated work bags for people who move through life with intention. From office to after work, leading meetings, building careers and making an impact with quiet confidence. Every OMNE bag reflects skilled craftsmanship and a refined design sensibility, bringing together Eastern craftsmanship and Western design sensibility, where every detail serves both design and function.

More than a work bag, OMNE represents Rita’s lifetime of learning, creating and believing that true quality speaks quietly but lasts. Her journey shows how experience, persistence, and a clear idea can grow into something meaningful and she hopes it encourages others to trust their own path. Over 40 Years of High-End Design

 

“A strong interest in fashion emerged during my youth in the 1980s, and forty years later, it has crystallized into something meaningful.” – Christer Axelsson

Christer Axelsson is a Paris trained designer with more than four decades of experience in luxury fashion, haute couture, and accessories. His journey began in Sweden in the 1980s and later took him to Paris, where he was accepted into the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne – one of the city’s most respected couture schools.

During his years in Paris, Christer learned directly from leading fashion houses. Even as a student, he worked closely with several major Parisian maisons. In the early 2000s, he continued collaborating with renowned brands such as Dior and Anne Valérie Hash, as well as Scandinavian brands like Gant and Acne.

What guides Christer’s work is simple and deeply rooted: quality has always been essential to him and defines everything he does. For Christer, quality today also means choosing responsible materials, valuing craftsmanship, and creating products built to last. These principles have been central in shaping his design direction for OMNE – work bags that are thoughtful, modern, and functional; bags that are not only beautiful, but purposeful, durable, and made for everyday life.
